PREDICT CT Center in Moscow: modern solutions for the medical space

Designing medical facilities requires not only high qualifications and experience, but also a deep understanding of the specifics of the facilities. Recently, the interior design of medical centers has focused on style and comfort. ASADOV Bureau, as a leader in this field, often responds to such requests. One of our projects is the PREDICT CT center.

The first thing a visitor sees when entering the clinic is a minimalistic and futuristic design. White shades and a gray terrazzo tile floor make the room aesthetic and spacious. We paid special attention to the ergonomics of the space: despite the small area, we managed to organize everything as comfortably and functionally as possible.

To the right of the entrance there is a reception, where a printer, computers for employees and a small cabinet for storing documentation are located. The waiting area is on the left, next to it there is a wooden cabinet for patients’ personal belongings. All these elements are harmoniously integrated into the overall interior, creating convenience for visitors.

The main spectacular component of our project is the corridor. The ceiling in the form of water ripples, decorated with backlight, produces an amazing visual effect. The lighting surrounds each door, continuing in the mirrored reflection of the ceiling, which creates the feeling of light portals along the entire corridor. At the end of the corridor there is a sofa area decorated with rounded details. Such elements add smoothness to the space.

The main room of the clinic is, of course, a room for computed tomography (CT). Usually such rooms look dry and technical, but we tried to refresh them. Relief walls with drops, equipped with color-changing lighting, give the space dynamics and futurism. The backlight can change color. This is a simple option, but it seriously changes the mood. The backlight can be linked to scenarios. For example, when the standby mode is one color, when the patient is in the office, another color, when one patient leaves and another comes in, a third color.

Every detail in the PREDICT clinic was designed taking into account modern requirements for the convenience and safety of patients. There is specialized linoleum on the floor, different in each room. For example, in the room with the device, we put linoleum that does not conduct current. According to medical standards, this linoleum is installed 10 centimeters on the wall using a fluted baseboard.

The panels on the walls create dynamics in the interior, the location of the device is highlighted by a dark circle on the floor. Ceilings made of mineral panels with hidden fastening not only look aesthetically pleasing, but also have an acoustic effect, as well as provide access to the ceiling space for ease of maintenance. A changing area is provided in the CT control room, which provides additional comfort for patients.

The project of the PREDICT clinic is an example of how the ASADOV architectural bureau implements modern solutions for medical interiors. We not only create aesthetically pleasing spaces, but also carefully consider each element in terms of functionality and convenience.
