The slogan of the microcenter “happiness is within” inspired us to create the most comfortable creative space. On the ground floor there is a cafe, co-working space and a cinema area, separated from the rest of the space by a glass acoustic partition.
The main material was CLT panels, from which the walls and ceilings of the building were made. CLT panels are an environmentally friendly material made from cross-laminated wood; it has excellent thermal insulation properties, high fire resistance and the pleasant aesthetics of natural wood. To create stiffening ribs for the clt ceiling of the second floor, we created a coffered ceiling from beams, which simultaneously improves the acoustics of the room and makes its appearance memorable. Transparent cubic lamps are located in the caissons, which creates a festive, enchanting atmosphere. The flooring is a neutral gray, and the furniture adds pops of color to the space.
On the second level, roof slopes dynamically cover the space, a glass partition fills the yoga room with light and separates it from the corridor with the psychologist’s office and locker rooms. The track lights are specifically pressed against the black contours of the glass partition to create the cleanest possible space with the minimum amount of detail.
