The tone and level of this space was set by the building in which it is located – the VIP terminal of Koltsovo Airport.
The key objectives were to create an interior with a sleek, premium aesthetic, the highest levels of passenger comfort and performance.
Every little detail has been thought out here for the convenience of passengers. There are hooks and niches in the sink area so that passengers can conveniently place their personal belongings. The sink and accent wall are made of natural marble. The wide mirror seems to levitate in space due to the fact that it is separated from the walls by a niche with lighting. Behind glass doors with embossed glass, silhouettes of useful little things for visitors are unobtrusively visible. In the center of the tabletop there is another place for personal belongings of visitors and bottles of soap and cream. To the left and right of the sink are towel dispensers, and in the center of the countertop is an open niche with a waste bin, accessible for maintenance through a hidden hatch below.
The bathroom walls and floor are finished with travertine with a light, delicate texture. The color scheme in this interior plays on nuances. All the details of the space are very close to each other in color. And for expressiveness they differ quite a bit in tone. The doors are made of natural veneer, the windows are protected by Roman blinds, and the radiators are covered with brass panels.
The interior of the cabins is no less elaborate, at the same time consonant with the main space. Touch-sensitive faucets are used for hygiene purposes. And the plumbing control keys are carved directly into the travertine, which allows them to be built into the walls as discreetly as possible. In combination with other techniques, this made it possible to create a visually clean interior solution.
