A winding river, a play of light and darkness, a bridge dividing the city into 2 parts…
No, this is not the plot of a Disney fairy tale, this is the new look of the Karamyshevskaya metro station.

The appearance of the station combines two opposites: light and darkness, white and black.
The columns of the station, repeating the bends of the Moscow River, create a dynamic and lively interior, forming a branch of the river. The central light strip, like the bridge, divides the station into two parts, symbolizing the green part of the bank and the urbanized right part.

In the pedestrian crossing you will find a special play of colors: lamellas with a triangular cross-section – one side is white, the other black. Depending on your look, the wall can be either completely white or black. This is not only visually impressive, but also creates intuitive navigation: white panels lead to the existing People’s Militia station, and black panels lead to the new part of the station.

The exterior of the street pavilions also reflects the main concept – a black and white color scheme emphasizes the unity of the internal and external space.
