The composition of the composition is the coat of arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The eight-pointed star, symbolizing the eight branches of the Turkic people, is transformed into a dynamic spatial composition, directed by its rays-ladder up to the sky – the symbol of Freedom.
Stairs lead to the upper levels of the museum and observation platforms, from where the breathtaking panorama of Baku opens. In addition to the stairs, all levels of the museum, observation deck, entrance and panoramic restaurant are united by a central lift. Above the central elevator exit to the observation deck there is a light-music installation “Country of Lights”.
Technologies “media facade” with the ability to visualize any images on the mesh faces of “Stars” allow it to be the culmination point in the night panorama of the city. Along with such dominants as the TV Tower and the memorial complex “Alley of Martyrs”, the “Star of Independence” will complete a harmonious ensemble of symbolic structures in the panorama of Baku.
