The task of the new project was to create the interiors of the public areas of the new terminal. In the process of finding a suitable solution, we have developed several options that combine modern technologies with images from Russian culture and art.
⠀
Pay attention to the ceilings, we made them of three types:
▪️ Decorative tubes with built-in lamps are associated with the endless fields depicted in the painting by I.I.Shishkin “Rye”.
▪️ White acoustic panels and perforated aluminum panels — snowfall paintings by I.I.Shishkin “Winter”.
▪️ Wooden slats — clouds bathed in the setting sun, as in the painting by I.K.Aivazovsky “Clouds over the sea. Calm.”
This approach to the arrangement of terminal B made it possible to make the interior diverse, cozy and harmonious. It creates an atmosphere that recalls the beauty and grandeur of Russian nature, as well as the richness of our country’s cultural heritage.
